Les Solutions fondées sur la Nature (SfN) sont des approches de protection, restauration ou gestion des écosystèmes permettant de relever efficacement différents défis sociétaux et ayant des impacts positifs à la fois sur le plan social, environnemental, économique et sur la biodiversité.
La France accueille des recherches de haut niveau sur la biodiversité, mais manque d’une communauté de recherche bien structurée pour relever les défis des SfN. Le programme national de recherche souhaite ainsi favoriser le développement d’une recherche innovante et ambitieuse sur les SfN, en tant qu’approches systémiques.
